Levi’s Gets a New Marketing Chief

The Levi’s brand is getting a new global chief marketing officer. Jaime Cohen Szulc has been named to this newly created position at Levi Strauss & Co. He will report to John Anderson, Levi Strauss & Co.’s CEO.
Szulc comes from Eastman Kodak Company where he was the worldwide chief operating officer and managing director of the company’s Consumer Digital Group division. His work at Kodak helped improve consumer experience and operational results.
Said Anderson: “Jaime is a strong, strategic business leader with a deep understanding of how to translate consumer insights into marketing programs that drive growth across geographies and channels. He is passionate about reaching out to consumers in relevant and meaningful ways. He also brings a strong global perspective to consumer engagement.”
Levi Strauss & Co. was founded in 1853 in San Francisco, California. The company, which is still headquartered in San Francisco, is popular around the world for its Levi’s brand of denim jeans. Currently, Levi Strauss & Co. has marketing operations in excess of 100 countries and have nearly $4.5 billion in revenue for 2008.
