Links Are Not All There Is To SEO

In an article I recently read, Loren Baker, Search Engine Journal’s editor, said that links are not all there is to search engine optimization. Of course, this does not mean that links are not important. These links are vital but a person doing SEO should not focus entirely on this to be able to make a site rank higher.

Baker continued to disclose that keywords should also be given that much attention to be able to rank higher. Also, headers should be utilized. These two are oftentimes not favored compared to building links for the site. Aside from these two, Baker also continued to share that if the site has broken links and broken pages, the person in charge of maintaining the site should remove these or fix them.

Some may want to cheat by hiding text in the images but Baker says that that is not a good thing to do because whatever you may be hiding there can be considered “extremely useful for SEO”.
