I wouldn’t necessarily classify that one as “news,” just a bit of pure speculation on my part. Ganassi’s made a lot of rash decisions over the past few years, and this one seems right up his ally. Plus, he likes Dario a lot and will likely do what he needs to in order to get him a ride full-time next season.

Out of all of those, number 5 is news to me. That said, it seems to make sense. I’ve heard some things about Reed Sorenson getting in trouble over at Chip Ganassi Racing, which would only add to the reasons for his release from the team. But, my question is, where does Sorenson go? does he head to DEI to replace Truex?
