I’ve been talking a lot about making connections & networking lately that I wanted to recommend a really good book on the subject. Jeffrey Gitomer’s ,”Little Black Book of Connections – 6.5 Assets for Networking Your Way to RICH Relationships,” is one book that ever young entrepreneur needs to read!
Here’s a quote from the first page, “Hint: To climb the ladder of success, you don’t need more techniques and strategies, you need more friends.”
I can’t agree more with that. Everyone focuses on learning all the techniques & strategies, when the truth is people still like doing business with their friends.
Jeffrey’s books are always so easy to read that you can read this in a weekend. I highly encourage you to get it and start using what he teaches. It’s really good stuff!
I agree. This is an excellent book…lots of common sense and easy to read. It’s a good bedside book for reading bits of it before you go to sleep. Or carry it along in your computer bag or brief case for downtime reading.
I guess the way to the ladder of success is both what you know and whom you know.
