Living above it all in New York City

How’d you like to live in a house that sits atop an existing apartment building? If you want to live in New York City, you’ll soon have the chance.

Construction crews are putting the finishing touches on three small houses, owned by real estate developers Anne and Arnold Gumowitz, that sit atop an eight-story tall turn-of-the-century apartment building on the famed Broadway in New York City.

There is some secrecy about the units.  According to this story in the New York Times, the Gumowitzes are giving no comments yet on the homes. They haven’t begun advertising them yet, and no one is saying when construction on them will finish.

Regardless, it certainly is an interesting project.
