Living Lohan – Repairing the Lindsay Lohan Family Brand

Living LohanLindsay Lohan started out as a child star but quickly fell prey to the wonders of Hollywood. She became a paparazzi favorite and landed in rehab after developing a bad reputation on set and off.

Enter manager and mother Dina Lohan who has long been called a crazy backstage mother living vicariously through her daughter. Dina’s been spotted out on the town with Lindsay more than once, and her public behavior has appeared less than perfect as far as the rest of the world is concerned.

Enter Ali Lohan, Lindsay’s younger sister. Dina started to focus on her younger daughter’s career (she’s just 14 now) and has been trying to launch her into the spotlight for some time now. Not much has been happening though to boost Ali’s star power. What’s a mom/manager to do?

Enter “Living Lohan” the new reality show that follows the Lohan family in their North Merrick, Long Island home for eight episodes appearing on E!. The purpose of the show, according to Dina, is because, “there are so many rumors about us and I feel that we’re in the power seat right now so that I’m able as a mom to say – this is our life, check us out and move on so we can be normal.”

So what do you think? Will “Living Lohan” repair the Lohan family brand?
