Everything, a program from http://www.voidtools.com, does its initial setup in less than a minute; from then on, file searches (by title) are instantaneous. Honest. Stays up to date on your files in real time, with no time-consuming reindexing. Small, uses few resources.
Freeware. Win2K and up. NTFS only.
