Looking for a tech job in BC? Might start with these software companies

TechVibes posted the list via Business in Vancouver of the top software publishers in BC:
The Biggest Software Publishers in BC are ranked in a BIV List in this week’s Business in Vancouver newspaper. Rankings are based on the number of BC employees. Electronic Arts and Business Objects stand out from the pack with over 1,700 employees each. Source: Biggest Software Publishers in BC
What does this mean besides the fact that BC has a hopping tech scene? That if you’re looking for a job, these might be the best places to start. Big companies like these are often hiring new folks, even if it’s a contract job, it’s a foot in the door.
Of course with all the great universities, colleges, and other programs in CompSci around the lower mainland, I doubt there is any shortage of good talent.
So, if you wanted to work for a software or tech company, who is your top choice?
