Lost: Via Domus – A New Made for Consoles TV Game
I feel… strange… posting about this new game trailer I’ve found over at Gametrailers, but it IS an adventure game and as the Adventuress, tis my duty to show you as much as I can about adventure games. I mean, that IS my job after all. My other job is to eat oatmeal while tap dancing with a troupe of penguins, but that’s not a talent that I get to display here very often. So, I get to stick to adventure gaming.
If you’ve seen the TV show Lost, then you have no doubt been sucked into its eerie depths that grab at your heart and soul and then entangle you to be its slave. You didn’t know you could be a TV show’s slave, did you? Well, according to several people I know, Lost has done just that. It has made slaves out of every person who has ever watched it.
Fortunately for me, I have never watched it. That’s not saying that I won’t, but it kind of scares me, really.
Anyways, back to the topic at hand: Lost the TV show has turned into Lost the video game. The name of the game is Lost: Via Domus and it’s bound to suck you in if you look too deeply into any character’s eyes. Sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? It’s even more intriguing after you read about the plot:
You awake to the blazing sun, the screaming of other passengers, the wreckage of Oceanic flight 815. And no memory of what has happened. Now you must fight for your survival by exploring the island, uncovering its dark secrets, and piecing together the fragments of your own furtive past. If you’re lucky, you may just find your way home…
And if that doesn’t inspire you to play the game, maybe a game trailer will:
The game is already out in stores for around $29.99 and can be bought for the Playstation 3, XBox 360 and the PC.
Intriguing!
