Low Carb Margarita
Low and even no carb drinks are the wave of the future. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a carb loving girl, but I will try anything once. I have to admit, when I first saw this drink, I had myself a good laugh. I have had low carb beer before, and I’ve got to admit… I’m not a big fan.
But margaritas are fun and diverse and more likely to produce a tastier low carb drink. So, here is the recipe brought to you by Voodoo Tiki Tequila. I think it’s worth a shot.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz of Voodoo Tiki Platinum Tequila
- 1/2 oz Triple Sec
- 1/2 Crystal Light Lemonade Flavored Drink Mix
- 4 oz Water
On the rocks combine all the ingredients and shake well. If serving up, shake well then allow a few seconds to rest before pouring.
Salting the rim is optional as is serving it with a lemon or lime wedge.
