Magnum D’Or Resources, a leading company in the field of rubber recycling solutions, recently announced that they have purchased a tire landfill located in Hudson, Colorado. Following the transaction, the tire landfill will be operated by Magnum Recycling USA.
“This is a great day for Magnum and the State of Colorado,” said Joseph Glusic, the President and CEO of Magnum D’Or Resources. “We plan on making this site a state of the art facility that should be a model for the rest of the country, if not the world, to demonstrate the ability to recycle waste products into useful and viable products that actually enhance people’s lives.”
This tire landfill is considered to be one of the largest of its kind in the world and perhaps the largest in the United States. Estimates for the number of tires in the landfill run between 30 million and 90 million. Glusic is understandably excited about the amount of tires in the landfill.
Said Glusic: “I am extremely excited about this acquisition which now guarantees the raw supply needs for our company for the foreseeable future.”
The 120-acre area is located about 50 miles away from Denver, Colorado.
