Making Smart Mailboxes Work For You

Merlin Mann over at 43 Folders wrote an interesting article on how he uses Smart Mailboxes in Mail.app to improve his workflow.

Managing email has always been a problem for me. It’s hard to sort through thousands of email in my inbox. I also haven’t had the time, well ok the discipline to sort out my inbox and organize it properly. My productivity takes a hit as a result.

Merlin’s tips aims to help people like me improve their email organization. I like the tips that he wrote, especially the Flagged Mailboxes. Often times I sort through my email but don’t have the time to reply or read through the whole email at that instant. The Flagged Mailbox gives a way for me to have all those emails that need my attention in one place. Cool.

So go on over to 43 Folders and check out the article.

    Juan,
What are your thoughts about Apple’s second-quarter results, which blew past expectations. I’m curious about how much more momentum you think the iPod has given it told 10M units in the quarter.

  2. Juan says:

    Hey Mark,

The second quarter results are better than I thought. I expected some more growth but not this much. I think the current line of iPods is close to reaching its peak. It’s really time for Apple to release the true Video iPod.

However having said that, I think the iPhone will help them sustain growth for the next few quarters.
