Making Tough Business Decisions

(www.bizchicksrule.com) — One of the challenging things about being a business owner is making the tough choices. Where will you cut costs? Where will you make sacrifices? Where will you invest your time and money?
After 13 months as co-host of Biz Chicks Rule, it’s time for me to move on to new and different things. I don’t say bigger and better things because I don’t think there’s anything small or inadequate about this blog. But that aside, my time here has come to an end, and I will be leaving you in Bridget’s very capable hands.
For those who’d like to keep in touch, I hope you’ll come visit me at my freelance writing blog, Inkthinker, and my pet blog, meow/bark/blog. I also have a general women’s interest blog slated to launch next month at www.sass-pants.com, and I would love to see you there.
Thanks for everything. Biz chicks really do rule.
All the best,
Kristen

Will miss seeing your posts on this blog.
Gosh – who wouldn’t miss a girl who dared to use the word “skank” on a biz post?
I know that there are big, big things in store for you. Your energy and creativity – and yes, I’ll sound like a 1930s newsman and say “spunk” – are so inspiring. I expect to see good things from you, young lady!
Good luck, Kristen!!
Hi Kristen,
Just wanted to say that I’ve started reading your blog. I’m wondering if you have heard about the book, “What Men Don’t Tell Women About Business”. I heard the guy (Chris Flett) on the Today Show and thought you probably have already heard of him. I’m wondering what your thoughts were. He seems to be really taking on the ‘Old Boys Club”. I just emailed him, but haven’t heard back.
Anyway, keep up the great writing.
Best,
Bihter.
Thanks, Kaarin and Kelly. :) You guys made it so fun.
Kristen, you still rule.
Good luck on your future endeavors. We’ll miss you here on the business channel er, portal … er, bizzia. :D
Thanks, Mark. :)

Hi Kristen,
I’ve been doing some additional research on the author, Chris Flett, that I talked about on my last comment. His company is “GhostCEO” (www.GhostCEO.com) and his book is a bestseller. I found it on Amazon here. Anyway, he was in the NY Times last Sunday under the “Career Couch” and he makes reference to women’s blogs like yours so I thought you might like to connect. I’d like to see you interview him and see what he’s all about. I saw on another blog he was a guest blogger. His email is: chris@ghostceo.com
Best wishes,
Bihter.
