“Managed Copy”: A Euphemism for Weak DRM

How fucking stupid does the AACS think we are? If you own a piece of media, you should be able to make as many copies for personal use as you need!

Instead, here they are trying to pass off “managed copy“, which actually restricts the number of personal copies you can make of your HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray Discs. To insult your intelligence further, they’ll charge extra to let you make more “managed copies”.

Fuck you, AACS. Either drop the DRM, or create more pirates. Morons.
