Mark Sanchez and the Trojans Dominate

I’ve had my doubts about USC. Everyone’s been saying what a powerhouse they’ll be this year, but my initial reaction to that is this: how can you talk about a team as being good before you really see their QB play?
Ok, we’ve seen Mark Sanchez play now. They’re good.
Of course, their total domination last night might have had something to do with the fact that Virginia was BAD. Virginia QB only completed about half of his pass attempts, had an interception, and was sacked twice.
Couple that with the fact that USC’s offensive line is good enough to give Sanchez enough time to do his taxes, smoke a pipe, call his girlfriend, take out the trash…and THEN throw the ball.
I have to be honest – I still have my doubts that USC is a national championship team. After the game last night, though, maybe that is just my hatred for USC shining through.
What do you think? IS USC going to make the National Championship game?
