		<description>I understand your grief and have experienced hang-ups on a blank dvd rom. Actually even when the DVD disc has written data, Vista sees it as a blank disc.

I hope they get that corrected right away.</description>

		<description>Vista does indeed have some nice new features and functions, but there is a major issue that has to be solved before it it used in a network environment. Network file copy and hanging windows explorer.

Widows Explorer hangs/dies very easy. All you have to do is put in a blank cdrom and click on the cdrom drive letter. Explorer goes out to lunch and you have to use Task Manager to kill the app. Same thing with network drives, USB sticks, and any removable media.

I have installed Vista Busines, Home Premiun, and Ultimate and find the same issue with each version.

Check the blogs including Microsoft TechNet. teh complaints are rampant!</description>
