We have used a first round draft pick on wide receivers for how many of the last five years? NFL champions are built around quarterbacks, running backs, offensive lineman and defense. Three areas that the Lions have ignored. I have been on this planet as long as you have (51 years) and how many times have we even made the playoffs, let alone won one playoff game? The owner of the team (the Ford family) runs the Lions the same way they run their car company, settling for being mediocre rather than trying to be the best. As long as Lions fans keep buying tickets and don't demand a change of ownership nothing is going to change. The Lions are pathetic. I have given up on them.
