Matt says all the right things. He is not only quick on the field, but at the mike.

“It’s a great city,” said Ryan, who was measured at 6 feet 4 7/8 and 228 pounds Friday. “(Falcons owner) Arthur Blank has done a great job, I think, in Atlanta. He’s made a strong commitment to the city, with everything that’s gone on the past year, and he’s done it with class. I have strong respect for that organization.” source

Yeah, right. Didn’t they cut the last quarterback, trade the one before that, and jail the one before that?

That is for sure where you want to play.

He had great things to say about the 1 – 15 Dolphins, too. Hey, he wanted to play for Bill Parcells, except Big Tuna will not be the coach, just the GM.

Actually Matt Ryan played my Michigan State Spartans and he showed a strong arm and an accurate short passing ability. Remind you of anyone with the initials Tom Brady?

Not saying he is, just that scouts notice those abilities.

“We sometimes called him the Tom Brady of college football,” Virginia Tech wide receiver Eddie Royal said. “In the fourth quarter you’d kind of feel comfortable, then he comes back and beats you in the last second.”

Oops, there goes that Tom Brady reference again.

Matt Ryan is poised to go at the top of the draft.
