Thanks for the mini history lesson Kim :) One group you didn’t touch on that I wanted to add here is online collaboration tools. Services live Microsoft’s Office Live Workspace let users share documents with coworkers and store important files “in the cloud”. This makes it easy to access those important files when you do not have ready access to your work computer.

Another helpful online collaboration tool that could be added to MindMeister and PBWorks is Microsoft’s Office Live Workspace. It’s a 5 GB online storage space where you can upload your work documents for safe keeping and backup. After allowing colleagues access to your workspace, you are all able to easily collaborate on work projects over the internet by utilizing the online editing and commenting features provided by Office Live Workspace.
