Or maybe he is but they really, really distract him during a race.
Or maybe Double D’s are bad luck in the horse world.
Or maybe Triple Crown hopeful Big Brown has a jealous filly back in the stable.
Whatever the reason, Hooters has been yanked as a sponsor for the Belmont Stakes favorite. The presumably “Shucks, just when I was getting close enough for a good look” jockey, Kent Desormeaux, won’t be wearing the famous logo when he—wait for it—rides later today.

The NYRA says there’s a conflict with another sponsor; Hooters says this is news to them.
Or, as this bloggerette’s better half (“The Bee”) said . . . maybe Big Brown is just a leg man.
