AFA has also been after Ford Motor Company with a boycott because of its support for gays/ gay-centered events. (Ford gives lavishly compared to McD’s) They have apparently been successful in driving down Ford’s year-over-year sales 5-10% per year, mainly because top insiders at Ford haven’t backed down, and gays, unappreciative gobs that they are ( a joke ), haven’t stepped up to buy Ford products. Now Ford is on the verge of bankruptcy and its stock price has fallen 90%+ from former highs. Not to say that the credit crunch, gas prices, and irrelevant products (which affect all US carmakers) have not contributed to Ford’s shaky condition, but the AFA boycott sure doesn’t help. Those heartland folks sure USED to buy a lot of Fords….
