Medal Of Honor Collection Announced

I was momentarily excited by the news that there was going to be a new Medal of Honor collection released by EA on March 6th. Anyone who knows me knows that this was the game that truly launched my online fragging obsession. I still play the original with fervent joy, and am sadly addicted to other WWII shooters like Call of Duty 2, based on the early development of my addiction to MOH:AA.

Sadly, my hopes were dashed to learn that the collection was coming out for the PS2. I love my PlayStation and all, but the unwieldy mechanics and snort-worthy controls of a console versus the PC for FPS games makes this bundle of joy much less appealing.

Not even for the sake of nostalgia will I put up with clunky, frustrating play. Shame really, that the platform choice is enough to keep me from picking it up, even at the bargain price of $29.95. FPS on the PS2 is like a root canal.

Well…that comment didn’t come out nearly like I wanted.

I was giving you much love for saying the above.

  3. Erin says:

Haha. It’s okay Matt, you can’t be brilliant and perfect all the time. Glad the King of FPS agrees with the sentiment.
