Shawn Johnson is one of two members already confirmed for the US Olympic gymnastics team. (The remaining four members will be chosen on July 20.) She’s also one of the most popular members of the entire US Olympic team.
The 16-year-old Iowan is the 2007 World All-Round Champion as well as the 2007 and 2008 US National All-Round Champion.
Johnson is one of just a handful of gymnastic in the world that perform the difficult “G” elements in three events. She’s also know for including the 2 1/2 turn Yurchenko vault.
You can read more about Shawn in her blog.

Can anyone answer why Shawn Johnson wasn’t shown under uneven bars on TV?
I don’t know if Shawn was shown on the uneven bars on TV. I am pretty sure that they just wouldn’t skip her so you must have missed it or something was wrong with your TV server or something. I don’t really know. But I have some good news. You can find her competing in all of they events via youtube.com! While you are there, check out my page (1ShawnJohnson1)! Or you can type http://www.youtube.com/user/1ShawnJohnson1 into the search bar. Have fun and good luck!
