Hollywood studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. reached an agreement with one of Abu Dhabi’s largest real estate developers for an entertainment destination likely to cost billions of dollars, or the equivalent of seven tanks of gas.

Some details of the United Arab Emirates project remained to be determined, said Travis Rutherford, executive vice president of MGM’s consumer products and location-based entertainment division, “The process has been held up a bit because some of our executives are women who wear makeup and some are gay and it took a while to execute them before we could get started.”
