Michael Jackson… The Video Game?

I have no idea if this is true but a Dutch gaming site called 9 Lives (the link might load slowly since it has to translate to English) is claiming that a Michael Jackson video game is in the works.  Since the site didn’t completely translate, all I can basically tell you is that the game is supposed to be developed by MJJ Productions and will feature music, video and dancing.  The article also says that it would be available for Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 and could be expected during the upcoming holiday season.

Okay, before we get too carried away with this, I just want to remind you that this is an unconfirmed rumor.  Now that I’ve said that, I’ve got to ask – would you play a video game starring Michael Jackson?  What could that game even be about?  I guess it could incorporate elements of Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution but, as was the case with the Grey’s Anatomy game, I just don’t see a point.

OF course i’m interesting in a Michael Jackson video game (especially if it has to do with new music). But we have to keep in mind that this is about the artist michael jackson, and not the personal life of michael jackson.

having said that… based on his music, his imagination when it comes to videos… if all of that is applied to a video game and produced correctly, where can it go wrong?

it is certainly something i’d keep my eyes open for. (plus, i just love music games, lol)
