Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ Is Coming To Broadway
No One Under 18 Will Be Admitted Without Parent or Guardian
In an effort to separate Michael Jackson from whatever money he still may have left, producer James Nederlander announced plans to bring the King of Pop’s music to the Great White Way.
The Great White Way refers, of course, to the Broadway theater district in New York, not the evolution of Jackson’s complexion over the years.
Nederlander, head of the company that owns nine Broadway theaters said, “I love the idea of making ‘Thriller’ a musical. Girl meets boy, they fall in love, boy has big secret, now what?”
Nederlander’s ability to utter the statement without the slightest smirk or acknowledgment of irony makes him the odds on favorite to win the annual Broadway poker tournament.
“It’ll be just like Mamma Mia,” said Nederlander, “Except waaay creepier.”
