Michael Phelps is Gr-r-r-eight!

Move over Tony Tiger, at least temporarily. Kellogg’s announced today that Michael Phelps and his eight Gold Medals will be gracing the front of specially-marked boxes of the company’s Frosted Flakes and Corn Flakes boxes.

Kellogg’s is an Official Sponsor of the 2008 US Olympic Team and a sponsor of Phelps, so the tie-in is only fitting. Said Marta Cyhan, VP Global Promotions for Kellogg’s, “Michael embodies the values behind our Frosted Flakes Earn your Stripes program. He knows that winning is not just about the glory, but about good sportsmanship, working hard, and being your best.”

Phelps is going to be a busy man. In addition to Kellogg’s, Phelps has agreements with Speedo, Visa, Omega, AT&T, PowerBar, and Hilton Hotels.
