Michael Phelps on WSOP

So breaking 10 Olympic world records isn’t enough, now the guy everybody’s already sick of hearing about Michael Phelps is talking about poker already.

“I think it would be cool to play in the World Series of Poker,” Michael Phelps said to the Baltimore Sun’s Kevin Van Valkenburg. “My game is a little off right now, so I’ll have to start improving it a little bit. But I think that would be cool, and it would be cool to meet some of those poker guys.”

I mean, I guess flopping quads or bluffing with 7/2 and beating out aces can feel pretty good, but I don’t know what it would take to feel much after this:

I for one will be glad when these games are over so we can stop hearing about him and more about Scotty Nguyen. And stuff.
