Micro Aerodynamics Announces Vortex Generators for Beech Musketeer, Sport, Sundowner, and Sierra

Micro Aerodynamics, Inc. has announced the availability of a vortex generator kit. Specifically, the kits are available for the Beechcraft 19A, B19, M19A, 23, A23, A23A, A23-19, A23-24, B23, C23, A24, A24R, B24R, and C24R aircraft. This announcement will be good news to Beech Aero Club members.

According to documents on the Micro Aerodynamics website the technology provides a reduction in stall speed, improved stabilator authority, reduced landing and takeoff roll. The Micro VG Kit consists of 82 Vortex Generators mounted on the wings, just aft of the leading edge, 32 Vortex Generators mounted on both sides of vertical stabilizer and 60 Vortex Generators mounted on the underside of the stabilator.

Included are installation tools, detailed drawings and instructions, templates for positioning VGs, spares, Loctite Depend adhesive and all the materials needed for the easy one day installation. The Micro Vortex Generators are manufactured under our FAA PMA from aircraft grade 6063-T6 aluminum, alodined to a Boeing mil-spec, ready for painting.
