Microsoft Word Image Editing Functionality

August 30, 2006 by Jason Bean

Why is it I can’t select one of my full-featured image editing applications as the default image editor for images in Microsoft Word? Microsoft Paint or Image Editor is useless compared to other applications that most people have installed. Why can’t I easily add those editors to the ones called by Word for editing images and graphics?

Very annoying!

yea thats bogus all you have to do is rehabilitate you’re c drive and upset the corrdinates. MSW is reall o source if you know the flexibilty in it which you clearly do not. Even though this update was an unmitigaed disaster, you don’t have to go b***hig about that that were alread there in the past and that are fixable by you. Learn some c++ and get a binary converter and you can fix this **** yourself.

John thanks for your input, but I’m not sure what you’re trying to say and how to do what you’re talking about. I don’t think the majority of our readers would either. I shouldn’t have to learn C++ to change the default editing program for an application to one that’s already installed on my machine should I?
