Mirror’s Edge – The Story

EA Games is ramping up to release Mirror’s Edge to the world on November 13th. And by ramping up, I mean they’re releasing a boat load of trailers. The newest trailer is what is being called a “Story” trailer, though I’m not really sure where the story comes into play.

Sure, there is a brief story: the girl’s parents are raging activist who are trying to over throw Big Brother and she wants to try to change her home back into what it once was! But the trailer never says WHY she does it. Revenge? Probably. It would seem that her parents and maybe her sister died in a riot and now she has to get back at the government. The best way to do that? Delivering messages to an underground group of people with the intent on taking things back.

Revolution!

Hopefully EA releases another trailer soon that’s a little more indepth, so that we can see a little more into Faith (the main character’s) life and see what she’s going to do to make her world a better place.
