If you’re a fan of Mac Heist and MacUpdate Bundle there’s a new guy in town. The name’s Mac Mix.
What sets Mac Mix apart from the other two is that you can actually choose the apps in your bundle. They have a list of apps for you to choose from then you mix it up to get a bundle that you want. The more software you add to your bundle the bigger the discount you get.
Granted, not all the apps that you can choose from are great. There are one or two gems in the bunch but you won’t get a big discount if you only buy a few but then again it is cheaper than retail. Notable among the apps are Parallels, Xyle Scope and TextExpander. The rest of the apps are ok but I haven’t really tried them all to say they are gems.
So this is what you get.
1 app = 10% off
3 apps = 30% off
5 apps = 40% off
7 apps = 50% off
9 apps = 60% off
12 apps = 75% off

This is a great idea. The reason I didn’t buy the last Macheist bundle was because I already had some of the apps on the list. While this isn’t as cheap as the Macheist Bundle, it is still way more flexible (and therefore more useful).
