MLK’s Impact

It is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – so I decided to make a post about it. This isn’t going to be a long one – but I really wanted to use today as something more than a day off. Where would we be without King’s work in the civil rights movement? How many years would it have taken to achieve equality – or in some cases, how many years do we have to go? I think “Where would we be?” is probably the most important question to ask today. Would there have been a Robert L. Johnson?  …What about an Oprah Winfrey (both of whom are very famous entrepreneurs)?

Watch television, look around your room, and ask yourself where we would be without equality.
