There are a lot of things happening in the world of MMA as of late. Let’s tale a look at some of the news coming across the feeds.

With WEC 40 wrapped up, we have WEC 41 coming up on June 7th. Can Jens Pulver pull off a 3 fight losing streak? We’ll find out as he faces Josh Grispi. That card is shaping up pretty good as we’ll see the rematch between Mike Brown and Urijah Faber as well as Don Cerone take on Richard Crunkilton.

  • Chris Leben is coming off of his suspension after testing positive for Stanzolol back at UFC 89. It’s rumored that he has agreed to fight Jake Rosholt at UFC 102.
  • 250 applicants showed up for this past weekends UFC The Ultimate Fighter 10 tryouts in Seattle Washington. No word as of yet what names will be going forward or whom will be catching.
  • Brian Bowles is looking to come back from his back injury by August to fight Miguel Torres for the Bantamweight title. Miguel Torres is going to lose that belt sooner or later. Will it be Bowles that he loses it to?
  • Josh Koscheck broke a toe and will have to sit out UFC 98. I think he’s been taking fights a little too close together anyway. Take a little time off, man.
  • Spike will be Airing the BJ Penn Vs. Georges St. Pierre fight at 9pm on Saturday. See for yourself if the Vaseline on St. Pierre’s back made a big difference or if BJ Penn just got his ass kicked.
  • Lastly there is a great App for the iPhone and iPod touch out right now that shows you Brazilian Jiu Jitsu moves. It’s from Grapplarts.com and costs $3.99. Go to Grapplearts.com for more info on that.
