MOBIVOX innovates again with easy calling–Just "Call Me"

Montreal-based MOBIVOX has done it again. They are making it easier and easier for people to call and connect through their mobile phones–and cost-effectively too:
Reinforcing its commitment to making international calling easier, MOBIVOX announced today the launch of its new “Call Me” button.
MOBIVOX members simply place the Call Me button into their e-mail signatures or onto social network profiles, blogs, auction sites and other Web pages, enabling them to receive calls from around the world, while keeping their phone numbers private. I’ve tried MOBIVOX and agree with Alec Saunders that you should just try it. Yes, Lypp is good too, but Lypp does require an IM client to work, MOBIVOX is a phone number. Really both are awesome, just pick the one that works best for you.
Ironic isn’t it? Canadians are pushing the boundaries of cell phone convenience and cost-savings while we have some of the worst rates and plans in the world.
Personally, while I use my Blackberry as a modem when I don’t have WiFi, I don’t think I really get everything out of the connection. I think it could be faster. I long for a really good PC card with an unlimited data plan that I can use in the US and Canada without costing me an arm and a leg.
That’s a post for another day, I guess.
