Where there is a mystery to be solved, there is a Nintendo DS involved. Unless of course the mystery is a real life one and involves murder and intrigue. Then cops are involved. But we try to stay away from cops around here. What we don’t try to stay away from is virtual reality mystery and in the virtual reality world that I live in, the Nintendo DS and your brain are usually the only thing solving a mystery.

That’s why Big Fish Games has once again taken their time to put a cool looking game on the Nintendo DS. Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir joins its DS game betheren on a system where most detective games use a stylus and some snooping power.

In this game of “Whodunit” or maybe more accurately “Wheredhego”, the player must find some rich guy using your God given brain talent, your stylus and maybe the DS microphone. And a kangaroo. Using these readily available tools, you’ll have to sort through items on the DS screen that will lead you to clues as to where this rich MillionHeir guy has gone off to. You may also get to play some mini-games that are so very loved by tons of casual gamers, so there’s always that to look forward to.

So, to summarize, you get to play a big scavenger hunt type of game! WHO DOESN’T LOVE A SCAVENGER HUNT?!

Interested? Good! Because the game is a mere $19.99 at your local gamery, which ain’t too shabby for a gamer on a budget.
