I didn’t realize that there are more girls playing computer games than men. Can you imagine that? I am just not used to seeing female gamers in computer shops, among my colleagues, etc. According to Nielsen, 55% of all game play minutes are from girls above 25.
With all the powerful and eye-popping games in the market, the big winner here is Solitaire. That is right, as of December 2008, there are 17 million players playing this card game.
Solitaire has been popular in the early days of Windows, as this game is bundled for free with the operating system. The 25 years and above playing solitaire may be the reason people, a decade ago, fell in love with the game of kings and spades.
Do you play this game?

Girl gamers aren’t limited to casual computer games. They also dig MMORPGs and hardcore console games. :)
I’ts incredible, but is true a lot of girls are now playing more games than boys.
I my self love this king of games, because it helps me relax and have a lot of fun it’s great.
I agree, on my gaming website we have a large female audience. I also see many female friends playing the various games on facebook too!
