If you have an account at Amazon you can upload and sell your own books to be read on Kindle: Amazon’s New Wireless Reading Device. Amazon attempts to make the process easier with this (pdf) “Quick Start” guide but it didn’t feel all that simple, to me. Not that it was too challenging but technical difficulties on their web site this morning prevented me from finishing my account update.

The deal here is to have a completed “book,” preferably in html for conversion to the Kindle format, a process they will lead you through. This is not designed for creating something as you go. DTP will re-format your existing work to be read wirelessly.
