More speculation on Vista Beta 2 release date

Following more speculation on the release date of Vista Beta 2, Softpedia is going for end January or the beginning of February 2006.

The speculation was started by The Inquirer suggesting a November date for the much-awaited Beta, which is expected to have many of the sexier features kept out of Beta 1.

Bink.nu, a Windows site, believes December is the more likely date.

For ourselves, November would coincide with the massive launch of Xbox 360 in the run-up to Christmas and the buying season. December is a chaotic month to release anything. Mid-January would be the safest option.

Microsoft has not given an official release date for the second Vista Beta release.
