I admit I can’t cook a proper dish in the kitchen although I excel in Cooking Mama. For young Japanese women who never step into the kitchen and prepare a proper meal in their whole lives, Mr Kouzi Aida is their saviour. Aida-san uber-popular easy recipe books have sold millions in Japan and is about time his recipes are heading for Nintendo DS.
Kouchan no Shiawase: Kantan! Oryouri Recipe boasts a cool 300 recipes for users to learn and kick butt in the kitchen. Let’s look at some of the screenshots.

Just looking at the screenshots, I’m drooling like mad. Besides providing step-by-step instructions, this cooking hack game also has a glossary, search function and shopping list for you to know what to buy in order for you to cook. Of course, all are in Japanese but if you know the language and inspired to cook a decent dinner for your loved ones, you can pre-order the game at NCSX for $39 (ships on 3rd April).
Happy Cooking!
