Motion-activated earbuds

What if you could listen to music or answer your phone via earbuds without having to mash any buttons. That’s the super-simple idea behind Sony Ericsson’s new MH907 earbuds, which are activated by body contact.

To listen to music, put an earbud in both ears, and the music starts playing. To pause your music, take one or both earbuds out.

To answer your phone, insert a single earbud. To hang up, just take it back out.

Seems too good to be true, but Sony Ericsson’s “SensMe” technology makes it possible. Here’s a video that demonstrates:

Sony is selling the MH907 earbuds in “Yellow White” and “Titan Chrome” for around $55, but it requires a Sony Ericsson phone with a “Fast Port” connector to work.
