No that’s not a typo. Although it’s only the beginning of October, November will be upon us before you know it. So why is the titled spelled “Movember”, or what is “Movember”? You’re about to find out!
Movember is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men’s health. It started in Australia (”mo” is Aussie slang for moustache) and happens all around the world.
At the start of Movember guys register with a clean shaven face. The Movember participants, known as Mo Bros, then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their Mo, raising money and awareness along the way for men’s health and the fight against prostate cancer.
So, can you grow a fat “mo”? Make it fun and for a good cause. Visit http://movember.com to learn more and register to become a “Mo-Bro, or Mo-Gal” and join in the fight against prostate cancer.
