Moving a Browser Tab to Another Window

I just thought of another thing I’d like to see Microsoft add to the next update to Internet Explorer.

I’d like to be able to right-click on an existing tab and not just move it within the existing order of tabs in that window; I’d also like to be able to move it to a completely different Internet Explorer window.

Can that be done somehow already? Can Firefox do that with their tabs?

It probably only makes sense to people that are working with multiple monitors and you want to move an active tab to your other monitor without copying and pasting the URL into a new blank tab.

Reuben, that’s exactly what I needed. Thanks for sharing!

Now I just need the same solution for IE7.

We need this because we want that tab to run in a separate window in case it crashes. Or to reorganize various open windows according to their tasks.
