MSN/LIVE continues growing with almost 64% growth last month. This growth from 8.4% to 13.2% of the total search queries performed last month comes in place of Google who lost more than 7% off its total search volume.

I believe that these numbers are to grow even further with Microsoft claiming more and more machines back in the shape of Vista installations. This is growth that was expected a while back and was only delayed due to people being hesitant from upgrading their operating systems. It will be interesting to see people’s reaction in the long run the sustainability of this “takeover”, much of which relies on the quality of LIVE/MSN’s results.
