Musical Theatre Wednesday Says: Looking Back I Could Have Played It Differently – Won A Few More Moments, Who Can Tell?
A classic video game lyric. You can tell it’s an Abba song, can’t you?
This is probably about video games. Didn’t I know how it would go? If I knew from the start – why am I falling apart? I’ll tell you, it’s because I accidentally ran into a guillotine gate in Prince Of Persia and have been cut in half.
Let’s go Spidey!

AUNT MAY’S SONG: “PETER”
(AUNT MAY ENTERS and climbs into a gigantic Wicker Man.)
Poor Peter
He couldn’t be sweeter
He has breakable bones
And no cojones
Peter
If he’s cut, he’ll spill a litre
Of blood
It’ll be a gory flood.
If such a thing were to happen
As his fragile spine taking a snappin’
And being yanked right out of his back
I’d have a heart attack
I may only be his Aunt
But that doesn’t mean I can’t
Watch him each and every minute
In case someone cuts a hole in him and stuffs a grenade in it
Am I wrong to worry
About him being turned into curry
By a ravenous man-eater?
Oh Peter!
(AUNT MAY breaks down in tears as ten pints of human blood fall on every single member of the audience.)
