will certainly catch some flak for it, but yes the Super Bowl Victory does make a difference. In the fans eyes, you do not want to be that quarterback that could not win the big one.

I don’t think Peyton needs ANY rings to validate what type of quarterback he is. Is Dan Marino less of an all-time great b/c he never won a Super Bowl? What about Jim Kelly? Fran Tarkenton?

I don’t think Payton needs another ring. This win relieves him of a huge burden and should be enough to silence whatever critics remain. Congrats to him, Tony Dungy, and the entire organization on a fine ending to a fine season.
