My Passion for Real Estate

I have just joined the Property Crossroads blog and am extremely excited about it.  Real estate is a passion of mine and has been a major part of my life for the past ten years.  I am an avid supporter of investing in real estate.  While not every deal turns out to be the greatest investment in the world if you do your research and know your market you stand to make a great success out of real estate purchases.

The internet offers a wealth of information, from individual realtor websites to real estate organization web sites like realtor.org and real estate new sites like realtytimes.com.  As we all know real estate is cyclical, it goes from being a seller’s market to a buyers market to somewhere in the middle of the two.  Obviously if you are a seller then a seller’s market is where you want to be and if you are a buyer then a buyer’s market is where you want to be.  The one thing that research will never tell you, no matter how much you do, is where exactly the top or the bottom of the market is.  That is where speculation comes in.  All you can do is do your best research and make the best decision that you can make for yourself.  Real estate can be a great place to invest your money if you do so wisely.

Today, real estate is a wild place to be.  There could not be a better time to buy with low interest rates and home prices getting lower every day, investment opportunities appear to be everywhere.  Now is a great time to do some research and decide if real estate is where you want to put your money.
