Rafael Nadal defeated Juan Ignacio Chela from Argentina at the Monte Carlo Masters. Nadal is shooting for a fifth straight title and is one step closer after his 6-2 6-3 win. He had an up and down match, but managed to pull it off.

“I played some games well. I played some terrible games. Up and down all the match," Nadal said in a press conference.

"But I think it was a comfortable win. I was never scared of losing. Sometimes, things like this happen. I will try and not repeat these mistakes in the next match."

Nadal has won the last 23 matches in Monte Carlo and will take on either Russian Marat Safin or Ecuador’s Nicolas Lapentti next. There’s a definite possibility that we could see Federer and Nadal face off again for a fourth consecutive final. Federer looked great on the court as he defeated Italian Andreas Seppi 6-4 6-4.
