Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trailer
Hey kids, it’s time to start flying off rooftops because here comes a trailer for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm for the Playstation 3.
Naruto games usually look really good, as does this pup. What I want to know is whether or not the gameplay will be tweaked. Will actual skill apply here, or are we in for more button-mashing (the favoured fighting style of the candy-crack Ninja)?
Huh. It actually looks better in terms of animation than the majority of the show. I really hope it’s worth playing.
Is it just another fighter though? : /
Naruto games are fighters of the most brainless order. You execute massively powerful special moves by tapping button combinations (down down triangle, for example), so there’s no skill involved. They look good, though, and there’s no denying that it’ll keep you entertained for a few hours. You won’t be working to develop an actual fighting style like you would with Street Fighter or Smash Bros, though.
Ah, that’s a shame. I’d heard good things about the XBox 360 Uzumaki Chronicles but if this one is another of those fanservice fighters then I’ll probably end up giving it a pass.
