NASCAR and racing is all about you, the fans who come out to see the races and talk to the racers that are heroes for millions of Americans. In order to give as much back to the fans and let the fans get a little closer to some of their NASCAR heroes. Roush Fenway Racing is hosting a fall Fan Day extravaganza on Oct 15 at their Concord, N.C. offices. Fans making an appearance at this event will be able to get the autograph for their scrap book of NASCAR celebrities like Colin Braun, Jack Roush, David Ragan, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Erik Darnell and Jamie McMurray. Check out the sponsored displays and food vendors, the Roush Fenway museum and walk through the Roush Fenway store to get a gift for family or friends who couldn’t come to the event or something to remind them of the occasion. Bring along a race ticket from the 2009 NASCAR season or wear a T-shirt with the picture of the Rouse Fenway racer that’s your favourite and you can use it to take advantage of the special discount to fans. The Roush Fenway museum is open additional hours during the race weeks through May and October, so you can stop in after five on most days and still get and see the things you want to.

Also on Oct 14 at the same Roush Fenway offices, the Greg Biffle Foundation will be having a little get together for fans to come out and enjoy. If this sounds like something you want to check out, you can get more information on this event at www.gregbifflefoundation.com.

On a slightly lighter note, five NASCAR competitors have decided they are smarter than five graders and will be testing their smarts for charity against kids that have done their homework on the all new Jeff Foxworthy hosted edition of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader. First NASCAR competitors David Ragan and Michael Waltrip are scheduled to test their smarts and see just how much they have forgotten since they left school. On Oct 26, Carl Edwards, Kurt Busch and Denny Hamlin will be testing their knowledge against five graders who like nothing better than showing how much they know. There will be a different twist to this classroom event though, since the competitors will also have the opportunity to get help from other 5th graders sitting on the sidelines, and if the 5th graders they’re facing are like the ones I know, these celebrities will need the help of the 5th graders on the sidelines to stand a chance.
